Courmayeur Design Week-End 2025: high altitude design

The fifth edition of Courmayeur Design Week-end once again transformed Courmayeur into a prestigious stage for Italian and international design from February 6 to 9, 2025. The event didn’t just use the region as a backdrop – it became an integral part of it, thanks to a unique format conceived by art director Paola Silva Coronel in collaboration with Courmayeur Mont Blanc. The Courmayeur Design Week-end received the patronage of ADI, Fondazione Altagamma, and the Order of Architects, along with support from Courmayeur Mont Blanc Funivie and Skyway Monte Bianco.

The magic of glass from Italy: Venice Design Week

The 16th edition of Venice Design Week took place in Venice, October 11 to 2024, with a focus on Murano glass, from Venice, as usual. Since 2010, every year in autumn, Venice has become the home of design for a week.
The 2024 edition saw the participation of 84 designers and 25 artisans, an increase over the previous edition.
The physical audience reached 6,647 people. The official Venice Design Week website recorded 6,691 active users during the design week, an increase from the 5,408 unique users in 2023. Engagement on Instagram also marked a 40 percent growth over last year, confirming the public’s growing interest in social media.

Passagen Cologne 2025: the first time without imm cologne

In 2025, imm cologne is taking a break, leaving many to wonder how this will impact Passagen, Cologne’s celebrated design festival. Passagen 2025 should take place in Cologne from January 10 to 16, 2025, anyway. Festival founder Sabine Voggenreiter addressed these concerns in a recent interview with the Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger. “The cancellation of the trade fair will, of course, affect us,” Voggenreiter acknowledged, “especially after the challenging years we faced during the COVID pandemic. However, we’ve since recovered well.”

NOMAD Capri 2022

The tenth edition of Nomad, Nomad Capri, took place July 6-10, 2022, at the Certosa di San Giacomo on Capri Island. Nomad is a truly unique exhibition. Launched in 2017 from an idea by Giorgio Pace and Nicolas Bellavance-Lecompte, Nomad is a traveling exhibition of collectible design. For every edition, it seeks out the most exclusive locations and perfect frames for art design. The first edition took place at Villa La Vigie in Monte Carlo in 2017. After that, Nomad has traveled to Palazzo Soranzo Van Axel in Venice, Palais Bulles in Théoule-sur-Mer, and Chesa Planta in Sankt Moritz.

Design Post Cologne 2024

Design Post, in Cologne, is not quite an event. In fact, it is a permanent showroom, which comes alive at certain, particularly representative trade fairs. Design Post is located at Deutz-Mülheimer-Strasse 22a in Cologne, so exactly opposite the halls of Koelnmesse. This is a forward-looking location that allows companies to have a permanent showroom, and attract trade fair visitors to the adjacent halls. In addition, Design Post, carved out of a Post Office building, is a particularly striking and attractive location with post-industrial architecture.
