From 2025, Maison et Objet unites its September and January shows under a single, bold vision. The trade show attracts 70,000 unique visitors per session, 40% international, with 1,000 journalists, influencers, and bloggers, and 2,500 brands, 25% of which are new. The two shows, together, catalyze connections, foster networking, and showcase global design.

September 2025

The September edition acts as a laboratory of ideas. It emphasizes young talent, experimental design, and cross-disciplinary innovation. Visitors explore six sections: Cook&Share, Decor&Design, Craft, Fragrance&Wellness, Fashion&Accessories, and Gift&Play.
The Design District highlights emerging designers, architects, publishers, AI innovators, and young decoration brands, with programs like Rising Talent Awards Germany, Future On Stage, Maison&Objet Factory, and Accor Design Awards.

Artistic director Amélie Pichard brings craftsmanship, playfulness, and responsible design. Immersive installations like Welcome Home showcase objects as creative manifestos. Partnerships with fashion schools and incubators support young brands in the Fashion & Accessories, Cook & Share, and Gift & Play sectors. Around twenty conferences highlight innovation and dialogue.

The Factory initiatives

Maison et Objet 2025 also spotlights emerging brands through multiple Factory initiatives. The Factory by Ulule presents twenty crowdfunding-backed brands in Cook & Share and Gift & Play, such as OSCO non-alcoholic aperitifs, Maison Primavera ceramics, Les Petits Architectes’ child-safe knives, Fabli interactive readers, Dr. Jonquille & Mr. Ail gardening kits, and Loumio Paris UV-protective swimwear.

Factory by the City of Paris showcases fifteen young local brands across Fashion & Accessories and Fragrance & Wellness, emphasizing sustainable, Made in Paris craftsmanship, including SŒUR & MER recycled jewelry, Atelier Penso leather goods, and Possery ready-to-wear.

Factory by Paris Design Week supports six former graduates from the Marais district, offering commercial springboards within the Design District in Hall 5A. The Factory by Émergence spotlights French brands in tableware and kitchen accessories, providing central locations, turnkey scenography, and enhanced visibility.

In September: Paris Design Week 

Paris Design Week runs simultaneously across five city venues, featuring 150 designers from thirty countries. Exhibitions highlight collectible design, craft, and international trends. Maison et Objet 2025 positions Paris as the global hub for creativity, experimentation, and professional growth, offering visitors a full view of the future of design.

Maison & Objet Paris has the power of one of the world’s biggest trade fairs

Maison & Objet hosts 2,500 exhibitors, 55 percent from abroad. On average, it has about 70,000 visitors, 45% from abroad, from 150 countries. Of these 70,000, 30,000 are professional operators with decision-making power. In addition, each edition hosts 1,500 journalists, influencers, and bloggers. 

In addition to the fair, Maison & Objet has activated a digital platform, MOM, which, over time, has become a marketplace for decoration and table art. MOM has over 480 thousand visitors and over 1.5 million subscribers on various social media. 

The September edition of Maison & Objet also includes Paris Design Week, which runs 4-13 September 2024. Paris Design Week involves showrooms and design galleries in Paris.
