Theme 2026: Future of Product Design

The 2026 edition explores the function of product design within our rapidly evolving landscape, emphasizing sustainability, flexibility, inclusivity, and an awareness of materials.

Festival director Ilona Gurjanova observes: “While contemporary focus has largely shifted toward immaterial design, we must pivot back to the fundamental values of physical product design. Every choice—covering material selection, form, manufacturing, and product lifespan—directly impacts both our daily lives and the health of the planet.”

Throughout the week, the festival offers an extensive schedule featuring conferences, exhibitions, interactive workshops, community gatherings, and commercial design showcases, integrating design into everyday urban life. Over 100 events are scheduled throughout the city.
