DESCRIPTION:Everything is set for the seventh edition of EDIT Napoli\, open to the public from 10 to 12 October 2025 (press preview on 9 October). Once again\, the event reaffirms its role as a dynamic\, evolving platform in the realm of independent and editorial design. \nThis year\, EDIT Napoli broadens its reach\, taking place not only in the evocative spaces of La Santissima—the fair’s headquarters welcoming national and international exhibitors—but also in the prestigious venues of the Vomero National Museums Complex: Castel Sant’Elmo\, the Certosa di San Martino\, and Villa Floridiana. These will host the CULT exhibitions of this edition. The choice of such sites highlights the multifaceted spirit of EDIT Napoli\, offering design as a constantly evolving experience and inviting visitors to rediscover Naples from fresh perspectives. Among the confirmed participants are former award-winners Atelier Nuanda and Bianco67 with Parasite\, alongside long-standing presences like ARTIERI 1895\, Eleit.it\, BLOK Design\, and Incalmi. New entries include Heike Buchfelder\, Fornace Brioni\, Made of Matter\, People of the Sun\, Studio Bojola\, and Utòl\, further enriching an increasingly diverse showcase. This year\, LABÒ focuses on a symbolic connection between Genoa and Naples – two ports\, two design cultures\, and a shared vision of the future. Within this framework\, Massimiliano Dalle Sasse will present at EDIT the D Lab collection by Davide Balda\, an innovative line created with Nuno Felt\, a recycled-fibre fabric shaped by artisanal processes. Thanks to this partnership\, EDIT Napoli winners will also present their work during Milan Design Week 2026 as part of LABÒ Cultural Project. \nRead more about Milan Design Week 2026 \nAnother highlight is the continued collaboration with DesignWanted\, which will bring to EDIT Napoli Shellf Life by Felicia Neuhof. Selected during the ENHANCE program at Milan Design Week\, Neuhof’s project transforms discarded oyster\, mussel\, and clam shells into sustainable building materials—an eco-friendly\, zero-mile alternative to cement and plastics. \nLa Santissima and set design\nThe frescoed vaults of La Santissima—once one of Europe’s largest monasteries—become a hub of contemporary creativity\, also thanks to a redevelopment program supported by Urban Value. Founded by a noblewoman who rejected an arranged marriage to pursue her calling\, La Santissima lies between Quartieri Spagnoli and Montesanto\, embodying EDIT Napoli’s mission to connect the city’s diverse layers. This play of perspectives defines the spirit of the seventh edition\, offering a renewed vision of Naples and its design identity. \nWithin La Santissima\, the Main area and Seminario (dedicated to emerging designers under 30 or projects less than three years old) will be staged in installations curated by Lemonot (Sabrina Morreale and Lorenzo Perri). Their concept contrasts ethereal surfaces with bold material structures. At the entrance\, a monumental suspended framework of steel tubes\, hooks\, and cables recalls port architecture and maritime imagery. This theme extends to Thalassa textiles by Teresa Carnuccio\, made with cyanotype techniques to evoke flowing waves draped like sails. Seating and lighting by Milani\, along with Ranieri’s lava stone benches and counters\, guide the path and shape resting areas. The interplay of metal\, fabric\, and stone continues into the bookshop\, where warm tones merge with the site’s historic architecture to create harmonious atmospheres. \nLa Santissima\, EDIT Napoli 2025 \nEDIT CULT\nFor the first time\, EDIT Napoli collaborates with the Vomero National Museums Complex\, reinforcing the event’s mission of exchange and cross-pollination.
