DESCRIPTION:EDIT Napoli 2024 returns as one of the most innovative design fair\, created to support\, promote\, and celebrate a new generation of designers. It focuses on the rise of the designer-makers at the forefront of a movement\, challenging the traditional production and distribution chain. The key features of EDIT Napoli are the products made from this spirit. \nIn fact\, the event winds its way through different spaces to delve into various themes related to the world of signature design. \nThe next edition of EDIT Napoli runs from October 11th to 13th\, 2024\, in Naples. Brands and designers – both emerging and internationally renowned – exhibit in the city’s most prominent venues. \nDiscover Nomad Capri 2022 \nEDIT Napoli 2023\, Fabio Novembre x Feudi di San Gregorio\, Homage to Riccardo Dalisi. As always\, the event will revolve around the works of independent designers\, creatives\, and producers\, displaying their work throughout Naples. The EDIT Napoli mission is to highlight sustainable design\, territoriality\, and the quality of the products on display\, rather than quantity. It also supports production processes that combine craftsmanship with industrial design\, even if at a small scale. Over 100 Italian and international exhibitors are expected this year at the Archivio di Stato di Napoli. A tribute to “mediterranean design”.  \nDiscover NOMAD\, the collectible design touring showcase \nThe Archivio di Stato in Naples. These include Dante Negro\, De Marchi Verona\, Eleit.it\, Marco Ripa\, MAS Design\, Mediterranea Design\, Monostudio\, SKNYPL\, newcomers such as Daniela Pinotti\, Ethimo\, Luca Gruber\, Testatonda Studio\, and many more. The product selection includes ceramics\, textiles\, furnishings\, coverings\, accessories and lighting. \nAs always\, EDIT Napoli supports under-30 exhibitors and companies under three years old\, displaying their products within the abbey at the Seminario. This area will also feature a solid Spanish contingent thanks to the España Diseño Mediterráneo (Spanish Mediterranean Design) competition brief\, launched in collaboration with the Instituto Cervantes de Nápoles and designer Tomás Alía. Alía also selected five new talents for EDIT Napoli. Entirely in line with the spirit of EDIT\, the principal location of the event will be the headquarters and epicenter for the entire community converging on the event. \nSome images from EDIT Napoli 2023 \n\n\n\n	\n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n\n\n\nContemporary design in historic location\nAs in previous years\, contemporary design will interact with the historic architecture of the Complex. This year\, it will take the form of a specific setup in the first atrium of the Archivio\, which designer Sara Mondaini will curate for Officine Tamborrino. Officine Tamborrino is a Puglia-based brand specializing in metalworking and creating design furnishings and micro-architectural elements. The brand worked with German designer Lilo Klinkenberg of Studio Lilo\, who realized the concept for green areas. \nThe Corte EDIT will host metal furnishing elements\, structural beams in steel; an explosive nature will interact with the existing architecture\, welcoming visitors into a dreamlike space right in the heart of Naples dedicated to dialogue and conviviality. Feudi di San Gregorio\, the historic winemaker from Irpinia\, has managed the lounge in this area for the third year. The winemaker is also in charge of the event opening party\, “Aperitivo all’italiana.” Over the three days of the event\, the winemaker offers visitors wine and gourmet tastings.   \nDiscover Maison & Objet 2024 \nEdit Napoli 2023\, The Archivio di Stato in Naples \nWhy visit\nNaples can create impossible links between people and stories\, where anything can happen. Bringing EDIT to Naples was a strategic choice. The city boasts a rich history of craftsmanship\, a solid local manufacturing industry\, a prestigious contemporary art scene\, and a vibrant community of collectors and cutting-edge cultural institutions. It’s a tribute to “mediterranean design”. Past editions of EDIT Naples have attracted more than 20\,000 visitors to the Complex of San Domenico Maggiore and more than 300 exhibitors. \nEDIT Napoli\, Naples\, October 11-13\, 2024\nEDIT Napoli is for professional and general public\nLocation: Archivio di Stato\, Naples\nSize: over 300 exhibitors\, 20\,000 visitors\nVisit website EditNapoli.com for more info \nSome images from EDIT Napoli 2023
