Paris Design Week is also an opportunity for design lovers to experience Paris in a different light. The ceramic tiles\, produced by the Dutch brand Palet\, pick up the colors of the quarters’ dwellings: the red of Pierre-Élisabeth de Fontanieu’s bedroom and the turquoise blue of the physics cabinet. Atop its pedestal\, the XXL ceremonial bed sports an exuberant array of drapery and pillows. Cabinetmaker Pierre Renart\, meanwhile\, presents an original work here with the Maison Parisienne gallery. DESCRIPTION:The third edition of Pietrasanta Design Week-end runs in Pietrasanta\, Tuscany\, from September 26 to 29\, 2024.  \nThe 2024 edition of Pietrasanta Design Week-end\, an initiative founded by Paola Silva Coronel\, takes place over three days\, with a rich program of exhibitions\, installations and talks.  \nThe common thread of this edition is the hallmark. That is\, an invitation to brands and designers to show and tell themselves through their cultural background\, emphasizing the difference that distinguishes artistic production from industrial production. \nSpeaking of industrial production and design\, an unprecedented duo\, Giulio Cappellini and Giulio Iacchetti\, arrives at the Church of Saint Augustine to stage the Versilia of all time. “Abitiamo alla marinara (We live seafaring-style)” tells the design of yesterday and today through four islands + 1 dedicated to life on the beach\, from relaxation to sports\, food\, and play. The +1 island is dedicated to a new outdoor furniture collection\, designed by Giulio Iacchetti for Ezio Foppa Pedretti and presented here exclusively.  \nDiscover Courmayeur Design Week-end \nPietrasanta Design Week-end 2024. The Sala dei Putti hosts a photography exhibition curated by Alberto Mattia Martini with shots by max&douglas\, whose title is “Inside Artist.” The collection of artists’ portraits premiers in Pietrasanta. In the Sala del Capitolo\, a painter\, Pilar Saltini\, signs canvases that become the setting for an installation of Kartell products\, curated by FABRIC. In a dialogue between art and design\, the visitor’s gaze travels into the infinite space of the polychrome canvases\, starting from the shapes and colors typical of the Kartell universe. \nPietrasanta Design Week-end 2023 \nArchitecture and design in magical Versilia\nIn the Chiostro di Sant’Agostino (Cloister of St. Augustine)\, between the arcade and the gardens\, is an installation by GBPA Architects for Medit\, with lamps by Dixpari. Here again\, outdoor beach furniture finds its natural habitat\, inviting the Design Week-end audience to discover the tradition of Versilia and the anticipation of the next stage. Here\, in fact\, is a glimpse of CourmaBeach\, the beach on the snow\, which was a success in February in Courmayeur.  \nOn the long and wonderful beach\, one of the most goliardic moments of this new edition will be the tournament of marbles\, customized with the faces of the designers\, instead of the historical cyclists.
