DESCRIPTION:Gdynia Design Days (GDD) is a Baltic Sea design festival\, which runs since 2007. 2024\, therefore\, is the 17th\, and takes place June 22nd-30th. Each edition of the 8-day festival is an opportunity to talk about design broadly\, as a discipline that affects the whole environment around us. The exhibitions\, workshops\, lectures\, and discussions cover current topics in technology\, process design\, ecology\, fashion\, architecture\, urban development\, and craftsmanship. Through diverse activities\, the design festival connects the design world with businesses. Gdynia-Zdrój must also be a space for curating the relationship with virtual reality and artificial intelligence-and the way we perceive them.  \nIn recent months there have been renewed debates about the dangers of excessive immersion in virtual realms and automation. On the other hand\, ours is a period marked by a strong denial of these phenomena. But perhaps there is a possibility of healing the relationship between the analog and digital worlds? At Gdynia Design Days there is a belief that media operating in these two dimensions are actually one world.
