Today\, AI leads as a co-creator\, inspiring new possibilities\, like in the movie “The Gateway”. The exhibition invites visitors to see AI as both a tool and a collaborator. \nDiscover Gdynia Design Days 2024 \n \nInnovative AI-Driven Installations\nThe event features cutting-edge installations. “Digital Home” by SHARE LAB and MMR Team converts subconscious inputs into dynamic visuals. AI translates these into 3D-printed designs. \n“New Taipei Station: The Digital Nomad’s Playground” reimagines Taipei’s station. Created by Tunghai University\, the project uses AI to adapt the station’s architecture to modern needs. It reflects the fragmented\, fast-paced digital era. \nDiscover Taiwan Design Expo 2024 \nNew Taipei Main Station\, The Digital Nomad Playground \nOther projects explore AI’s influence on architecture and culture. “Every Building’s OOTD” turns textile patterns into architectural concepts. “Infinite Evolution: Local Mascots” uses AI to adapt traditions to modern society. \nTDW 2024 also tackles AI’s challenges. “Project Patching: AI & Geo-cultural Bias” critiques AI’s cultural biases and offers localized solutions for inclusivity. \nDiscover Design Doha \nDigital Home at Taiwan Design Week 2024 \nTalks and Forums on AI and Design\nThe event extends beyond exhibitions with forums and discussions. Key highlights include: \n\nDesign Without Borders: A dialogue between Taiwan and Poland.\nAI-Driven Design Talks: Insights from the Busan Design Center and World Design Organization.\nDesign Research Forum: Focused on micromobility\, generative AI\, and material innovation.\n\nGlobal Platform for Innovation\nTDW 2024 positions Taiwan as a leader in AI-driven design. Under the theme “The Gateway”\, it examines AI’s influence on design\, architecture\, and culture. Global audiences will explore new opportunities and challenges in creative fields. \nThe Gateway: exhibition theme\nThis is a creative gathering where humans and AI dance together. As you step into the exhibition\, a new world unfolds before your eyes. \nThree Main Sections\nLocated in the Taiwan Design Museum at Songshan Cultural Park (Room 03)\, the long\, rectangular space is divided into three main areas.​　　​ \nThe Manufacturing Center  \nHere\, you’ll find works by Taiwanese artists\, designers\, and industrial sectors. Every piece bears traces of AI’s involvement-whether generating content or awaiting your interaction. The intangible AI is transformed into tangible tools for you to explore. \nThe Experiment Field  \nThis section features projects from the “Intelligent Environment Design” at Tunghai University. Students utilize AI for various forms of data analysis\, experimenting with the boundaries of AI’s understanding of humanity. \nThe Inspiration Pool \nHere\, you’ll see recorded interviews with 14 experts. They will share insights on AI’s anticipated developments and applications across various industries. \nWhy visit?\nSupported by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and led by the Taiwan Design Research Institute\, TDW connects Taiwan’s design community to the global stage. It showcases Taiwan’s design talent and positions “Designed in Taiwan” as a global standard for innovation. The first Taiwan Design Week\, in 2023\, hosted over 100 designers and experts presented fascinating designs and creative ideas.
