It’s one of many standout moments across vibrant neighborhoods like Le Marais\, Saint-Germain-des-Prés\, Opéra\, and Bastille. \nIn 2025\, Paris Design Week takes place September 4-13\, 2025 \nFolie\, by designer Lucas Huillet and perfumer Alexandre Helwani\, at Hôtel de Sully \nFrom galleries and concept stores to leading design schools\, this immersive circuit breaks down traditional barriers.\nNow more energized than ever\, Paris’s iconic landmarks are being transformed by contemporary installations that challenge and play with the historic codes of these monuments. \nParis Design Week becomes a stage where new voices\, renowned institutions\, established houses\, and international figures come together in a lively\, unfiltered exchange.\nThis year\, the event coincides with the 100th anniversary of Les Arts Décoratifs – a perfect backdrop to spotlight iconic brands such as Leblon Delienne\, Tiptoe\, Archik Paris\, and Oberflex as they debut their newest collections. \nFrom one stop to the next\, a bold and emotionally rich design culture leads the way.\nParis provokes\, deconstructs\, questions\, and reinvents.\nThroughout the week\, its neighborhoods transform into a sprawling open-air gallery\, with 375 extraordinary venues at the forefront. \nThe avant-garde gathers at Factory – and beyond\nParis Design Week Factory acts as a launchpad for tomorrow’s daring creatives\, those willing to take risks for meaningful design.\nA core of avant-garde spirit\, Factory unites design schools\, international delegations\, and collective studios like JAD (Jardin des Métiers d’Art et du Design).\nThese creative forces stretch across Factory sites\, from the 4th arrondissement to the Galerie des Gobelins in the 13th\, and to Aubervilliers with its POUSH program.\nJust a few steps apart\, the Espace Commines\, home to Collectible Design\, and 116 rue de Turenne\, focused on Editorial Design\, are interlinked by international showcases woven in between. \nMonoprix teams up with École Camondo for a new “Créateur” Collection\nFor the first time\, Monoprix partners with a design school for one of its signature “Créateur” collections. École Camondo\, known for its Master’s program in interior architecture and design\, takes center stage. Monoprix tapped into the talent of graduates within five years of earning their degrees\, supported by a jury of experts including designers Ionna Vautrin and Jean-Baptiste Fastrez.\nThree names stand out: Blanche Mijonnet\, Léo Achard\, and Stanislas Dieupart\, each unveiling their collection this fall at 116 rue de Turenne. This is an innovative platform dedicated to female artists and designers who work across various mediums and experimental techniques. Each artist crafts a personal\, imaginative narrative. Huihui explores the interplay between micro and macro through immersive textile installations. Fei Fei creates symbolic expressions using lambswool\, while Wei Chen sculpts with sugar. Also featured are the bold\, expressive worlds of Hua Li\, Cheer Huang\, Atelier Murmur\, and Ji Lingzi. \nNew Factory spotlight: Le 84\nFor the 2025 edition\, a brand-new group exhibition space debuts at 84 rue de Turenne. An extension of Factory\, this gallery brings together 12 rising design houses and established international names offering fresh takes on the tradition of decorative art. The exhibition focuses on material excellence and refined form.\nAmong the featured designers: blown-glass works by the three Stokowski brothers\, textile-inspired pieces by Hugo Falaise\, and a striking new design language by Charles-Emmanuel Deppierraz.\nThe gallery opens from September 4–8\, 2025. \nDiscover Milan Design Week 2025 \nLainamac at Paris Design Week 2025 \nGalerie des Gobelins: design schools\nAcross the river\, the next generation continues the conversation with “Vivement Demain\,” now in its fourth edition at the Galerie des Gobelins. Organized by the Campus des Métiers d’Art\, the show features graduation projects from around ten design schools. \n“Up in the air” with Mathieu Lehanneur \nA celebrated guest returns to illuminate the Parisian sky for the 15th anniversary of Paris Design Week. The poetic silhouette of a helium balloon\, first seen during summer 2024\, returns\, together with the Olympic cauldron’s flame\, both designed by Mathieu Lehanneur.
