An Ecosystem on an Industrial Scale: The DESIGNITY 2026 Model

The transformation of over 4,000 square meters into a cohesive ecosystem was one of the hallmarks of this edition. The event achieved the goal of breaking down barriers between creativity and industry through the DESIGNITY 2026 format, a strategic collaboration between VMARK and VIFA EXPO.
This space didn’t just display products; it showcased cutting-edge material solutions dedicated to mid-to-high-end segments. The public success — over 2,500 high-quality visitors — reflects precise market segmentation: an audience composed of 50% architects and designers, 40% real estate investors and business leaders, and 10% academics and media. This composition highlights how VMARK 2026 confirmed itself as a top-tier B2B platform, supported by strategic partners of the caliber of An Cuong, HTM Homes, Blum Vietnam, and TCL, who integrated smart housing solutions and eco-friendly materials into the exhibition fabric.

Rewarded Excellence: The VMARK Design Award 2026

The awards ceremony on June 10th represented the climax of the event, where the international jury — composed of eminent figures of global design such as Hiroyuki Niwa, Danilo Trevisan, and Artur Hovhannisyan — celebrated excellence.
The winning projects, selected from 12 categories, were chosen not only for their form but for their ability to integrate Vietnamese cultural identity and sustainable innovation. As highlighted by the President of VDAS, Ho Tan Duong, the value of these awards lies in the confirmation that Vietnamese design is actively building its own unique language on the international stage. The success of the evening, concluding with a spectacular fashion show, confirmed VMARK’s commitment to elevating the quality standards of “Made in Vietnam” toward global levels of excellence.

The International Design Summit: Three Pillars for Transformation

The beating heart of the event was the International Design Summit, featuring over 30 global experts who engaged in discussions on themes outlining the near future of the sector.

Circular & Regenerative Living Space: Design to Restore The inaugural summit shifted the focus from simple sustainability to “regeneration.” Through the interventions of an international panel — including architects of the caliber of Hiroyuki Niwa, Joe Lin, and Koji Sakai — it emerged that contemporary design must take on the environmental responsibility of restoring, not just conserving. It is a philosophy that views living space no longer as a static entity, but as a living organism.

Circular & Regenerative Products: The Material Experience The second summit analyzed the intersection between technological innovation and next-generation materials. Moderated by Van Thi Anh Thu, this segment offered technical insights into how modern technologies can optimize user experience. The discussion went beyond theory, focusing on practical application to improve the quality of life within living spaces.

Regenerative F&B and Hospitality: Nurturing the Soul The concluding chapter addressed the hospitality and food & beverage sector, defining new paradigms for businesses. The panel, enriched by the presence of experts such as Massimo Mussapi and Isabella Chow, explored how design can regenerate business ecosystems, combining aesthetics with the ability to offer profound and rejuvenating experiences for end-users.
