The first edition of 3daysofdesign, in 2013, was a collaborative effort by four Danish brands: Montana, Erik Jørgensen (now part of Fredericia Furniture), Anker & Co, and Kvadrat. At the time, Copenhagen lacked a dedicated design festival, as its former annual furniture fair at the Bella Center had closed years earlier.
Today, 3daysofdesign spans the entire city of Copenhagen and stands as the leading annual design festival in Scandinavia and Northern Europe.
In 2025, 3days of design runs June 18-20.

Keep it real: the 2025 Festival theme
In today’s world, where uncertainty and overload are constant, authenticity is a radical act. This year’s theme, Keep it real, is a call to stay true to your vision, values, and voice. Thus, embracing what makes you human, original, and grounded.
A visual language by Andreas Samuelsson
To visualise the theme, Gothenburg-based artist Andreas Samuelsson has created a new identity for 2025. His artwork combines organic forms and negative space in a design that evokes emotional depth and poetic clarity.
Brands like Apple, Flos, Aesop, Hermes, and The New York Times already featured the Samuelsson’s signature style.
