As the anchor event of Dubai Design Week, held every November, Downtown Design brings together globally renowned design brands and manufacturers alongside independent designers, collectives, and studios from around the world – with a special focus on regional talent.

Returning to the d3 Waterfront from 5 – 9 November 2025, the fair will once again present a line-up of prominent global brands and manufacturers, showcasing high-quality, contemporary design, across different fields.

A boutique fair for contemporary design 

Dedicated to contemporary, high-quality design, the fair showcases products, and a rich collateral programme that includes live talks, masterclasses, networking events, and creative experiences. These activities are tailored to a diverse audience – from international architects and interior designers (A&ID) and high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) to local homeowners and design enthusiasts.

Downtown Design Dubai 2025: The Forum 

The Forum – Downtown Design’s thought-leadership platform – hosts an engaging series of live talks, panel discussions, and keynotes led by influential regional and international speakers.

Curated to foster meaningful connections and dialogue in one of the world’s most dynamic markets, the 2025 edition will take place in a newly designed space by architect and designer Roula Salamoun.

Over the years, The Forum has featured globally celebrated names such as Lidewij Edelkoort, Kelly Hoppen, India Mahdavi, Christian Louboutin, Sabine Marcelis, Lina Ghotmeh, and Sebastian Herkner.

This year’s confirmed speakers include:

• Tom Dixon, one of the most influential figures in contemporary design, making his Dubai debut with a keynote on material innovation and the evolution of global design narratives;

• Marcel Wanders, internationally acclaimed for his human-centred design philosophy;

• Lee Broom, Stephanie Coutas, and David Hicks, joining an exceptional line-up of creative voices.

They will appear alongside leading regional designers such as Rabah Saeid, Pallavi Dean, and Abdalla Almulla, as well as design directors from acclaimed studios including Bone, SAY Studio, and 1508 London.

Downtown Design Riyadh

Following the success of its debut, Downtown Design Riyadh will return to the JAX District for its second edition from 3 – 6 February 2026.
