From returning highlights to exciting debuts, FIND Singapore shines a spotlight on the pulse of design across Asia and Europe – all at Southeast Asia’s most influential design fair. FIND – Design Fair Asia 2025, a flagship event of Singapore Design Week, returns from 11 to 13 September 2025 at Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre, reaffirming its position as the region’s premier design platform with a steadily expanding global reach. This edition centres on a vibrant showcase of national pavilions, each reflecting its country’s evolving design story.

Stretching from Europe to Southeast Asia, the pavilions illustrate both diversity and the shared ideals driving today’s global design scene. Italy, a founding presence at FIND, returns with leading furniture and interior brands. Joining them are Singapore, Thailand, Czech Republic, and Indonesia, along with collective pavilions from France, Hong Kong, and Taiwan – each contributing unique perspectives and craftsmanship. Together, these pavilions affirm FIND’s role as more than a marketplace: it is a crossroads for cultural exchange and design diplomacy.

ASEAN: an emerging market

In an era of shifting supply chains, tariff uncertainties, and intensifying global trade tensions, design and furniture brands are increasingly looking to Asia – especially ASEAN – as a resilient, high-growth region of more than 680 million people. Vietnam has become the world’s second-largest furniture exporter, with yearly exports surpassing USD 10 billion, fuelled in part by US-China trade realignment. With the ASEAN furniture market projected to grow over 5% CAGR through 2029, the region offers not only cost efficiencies and favourable trade terms, but also strong domestic demand propelled by urbanisation and an expanding middle class. Southeast Asia is firmly positioned as a critical driver of global design and furniture growth.

Luxury developments such as Singapore’s Park Nova and Bangkok’s The Residences at Mandarin Oriental are also boosting demand for premium interiors. Hospitality is another major force: Hilton’s Asia Pacific portfolio surpassed 1,000 operating hotels in December 2024, a sharp jump from 761 the year before and ahead of its 2025 target. Accor has signed 27 new projects, adding 8,100 keys across ASEAN markets including Singapore, Indonesia, and Vietnam. Indonesia and Thailand are seeing a surge of luxury villas, resorts, and serviced apartments in Bali and Phuket. As high-end resorts and boutique hotels proliferate, demand for sustainable, design-led, and durable furniture is climbing. This creates a prime opportunity for brands offering bespoke craftsmanship and eco-conscious materials to become preferred partners in ASEAN’s fast-evolving hospitality ecosystem.
