3daysofdesign is Denmark’s largest design festival, established in Copenhagen in 2013. A single event spawned the first edition of the 3 days of design, an exhibition in an old warehouse in Nordhavn, a harbor area overlooking Copenhagen’s waterfront. Only four companies participated in that exhibition: Montana, Erik Jørgensen (now owned by Fredericia Furniture), Anker & Co, and Kvadrat. At that time, in fact, there was no Danish event dedicated to design in Denmark, after the previous annual fair, at Bella Center, had already closed for a few years.

Today, the 3daysofdesign festival has blossomed into a city-wide celebration, firmly establishing itself as the most important annual design festival in Denmark and Scandinavia. Each year since its inception, 3 days of design in Copenhagen has seen a surge in popularity, with 2023 hosting about 500 events and over 250 brands exhibiting. The festival is not just about presentations, but also design conferences and networking events, making it a hub of creative energy.
