Ambiente Fair, in Frankfurt, is one of the most important trade shows in the world, for the home décor industry. The 2024 edition takes place from January 26 to 30. Organized by Messe Frankfurt, it’s held every year in late January or early February. Frankfurt has a long tradition of trade fairs: the first Frankfurt Autumn Fair became a regular fair in 1240. Ambiente grew from the International Spring Fair in 1990, as Premiere and Ambiente. In 1996, the trade fairs Paperworld, Beautyworld and Christmasworld replaced Premiere, while the Autumn Fair was rebranded as Tendence.

Ambiente Fair: a show inFrankfurt for HoReCa and residential
Today, Ambiente is a trade show rich in inspiration, design trends, new products and ideas. The show caters to residential and HoReCa markets, with product areas Dining, Living, Giving and Working, and is for professionals only. The Living area offers all styles of furniture and decoration. The Giving zone, on the other hand, provides a broad overview of gifts and personal accessories, as well as high-quality stationery and school supplies. The new Working area focuses on the work of tomorrow. Finally, the HoReCa and Contract Business sectors express future intersections.
Ambiente 2024 focuses on major contemporary issues. Sustainability, the work of the future, design, lifestyle, retail, and e-commerce are the most current topics, featured in products, seminars, and workshops. From 2023, Ambiente will be together with Christmasworld and Creativeworld for an even more comprehensive offering.

A very international trade fair
In 2023, Ambiente hosted 109,491 visitors from 168 countries, with 3,681 exhibitors, on 250,000 square meters of floor space. The ten countries from which the most professionals arrived were Italy, France, Great Britain, Netherlands, Spain, Turkey, Poland, Greece and South Korea.
In addition to the fair, Ambiente has set up a digital platform, which allows people to keep up to date with trends and maintain contact with exhibitors throughout the year. Conzoom Solutions, in fact, is the platform for industry professionals with a directory of consumer goods manufacturers, and nmedia.hub is the content platform for the home & living sector.
