Ambiente Fair 2024 Designer Community

From January 26 to 30, 2024, Ambiente is the place where the international design community meets. The 2024 claim is “The Lifestyle Movement”, with a focus on design and trends.
The Designer Community at Ambiente 2024 dedicates a whole day to design and designers.
On Saturday, January 27, Designer Day offers inspiration to those who are looking for the latest trends. From 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., there will be talks by well-known international designers. Elena Salmistraro will give her special presentation “The Lounge – A Serious Game”; then, presentations by Christoph Brach of Raw Colour, Laura Straßer of Matter of Course, Alison Mears and Jonsara Ruth of Parsons Healthy Materials Lab, and T.A. Wu of Spring Pool will follow.

Ambiente Trends 24+

Ambiente’s Trends 24+ provides a broad overview of what’s new in objects and accessories. What’s new in 2023 are trends in the new workplace.

AURA OF PROGRESS_visionary + elemental emphasizes contrasts. Digital design processes and those supported by artificial intelligence enhance traditional craft methods. At the same time, many designers start from the perspective of ecology and saving resources. The results are fascinating and new, and often sustainable.

Ambiente Trends 24+: Spirit of Craft

The Lounge by Elena Salmistraro

Elena Salmistraro, from Milan, is the Designer of the Year at Ambiente; the first ever, as this is the first time Ambiente has given the award. The award-winning designer and artist will create “The Lounge,” an installation that makes a thematic interface between interior design and HoReCa.

Ambiente Academies is Ambiente’s conference and seminar program. In 2024, the four conference areas will focus on the latest trends, concepts, and practical advice from well-known experts. The fair thus also becomes an educational and exciting time for professionals.

Solutions: intelligent solutions for kitchen and households

Which kitchen and household tools are handy? Which ones are innovative, and which ones have an appealing design? British designer Sebastian Bergne will be back with the tenth edition of Solutions. The exhibition presents a smart selection of objects, practical, made by intelligent and sustainable materials.
