Formafantasma began as a studio that focused on materials research. Later, the studio deepened its research into the impact of today’s designs on the environment. In fact, its research focuses on how we extract and process materials, and how knowledge can help make more thoughtful design choices. The studio works on both commissioned and self-managed projects.
As the Guest of Honour at the Stockholm Furniture Fair, Formafantasma will create an installation in the entrance hall. This is also the studio’s first exhibition in Sweden.
