It’s always been said that design is a process rather than a product. Heimtextil 2025 embraced this idea by enlisting Patricia Urquiola and Alcova to explore the connection between design and textiles. Patricia Urquiola named her project for Heimtextil 2025 “Among Us.” She created an enchanted living room that served as more than just an installation—it became a convivial space where people could experience technology and craftsmanship embodied in fabric up close. Aquafils, CC Tapis, Cimento, Kettal, Kvadrat, and Moroso collaborated on the area, showcasing the full potential of contemporary textiles as hybrid surfaces combining digital technology with exceptional craftsmanship.
