Design Post Cologne 2024

Design Post, in Cologne, is not quite an event. In fact, it is a permanent showroom, which comes alive at certain, particularly representative trade fairs. Design Post is located at Deutz-Mülheimer-Strasse 22a in Cologne, so exactly opposite the halls of Koelnmesse. This is a forward-looking location that allows companies to have a permanent showroom, and attract trade fair visitors to the adjacent halls. In addition, Design Post, carved out of a Post Office building, is a particularly striking and attractive location with post-industrial architecture.

Currently, 38 brands are exhibiting on Design Post’s more than 3,500 square meters of floor space; these are high-end design brands, all of which worldwide renowned. The daylit environment on two levels offers a 360-degree view of the various displays, which range from 50 sqm to 300 sqm or more. The visit to Design Post happens in a particularly relaxed atmosphere even during trade shows; for companies, it is like having a three-dimensional catalog, where operators can see products up close and immerse themselves in the brand vibe.

The geo location allows Design Post to have a broad catchment area, thanks in part to the excellent connection infrastructure. The Cologne-Düsseldorf-Ruhr region boasts the highest density of architects, interior designers and planners in Germany. The building is thus a hub for major trade fairs in the industry, with about 142,000 visitors from 137 countries (for imm cologne) and 50,000 visitors from 123 countries (for Orgatec). It is easily accessible from both Cologne/Bonn Airport (20 minutes by cab or train), Düsseldorf Airport (45 minutes by cab or train) and Frankfurt Airport (60 minutes by ICE, direct).
