Design Post Cologne 2024

Design Post, in Cologne, is not quite an event. In fact, it is a permanent showroom, which comes alive at certain, particularly representative trade fairs. Design Post is located at Deutz-Mülheimer-Strasse 22a in Cologne, so exactly opposite the halls of Koelnmesse. This is a forward-looking location that allows companies to have a permanent showroom, and attract trade fair visitors to the adjacent halls. In addition, Design Post, carved out of a Post Office building, is a particularly striking and attractive location with post-industrial architecture.

Bangkok Design Week 2024

The seventh edition of Bangkok Design Week 2024 (BKKDW2024) will take place from January 27 to February 4, 2024. The theme of the 2024 edition is “Livable Scape: The More people act, the better the city.” Bangkok Design Week comprises more than 400 events spread across various districts in the city, including Charoenkrung-Talad Noi, Samyan-Siam, Ari-Pradipat, Phra Nakhon, Phrom Phong, and others. Among the various activities are exhibitions, conferences, and workshops, with initiatives and ideas to encourage change.

Ambiente Fair 2024 Designer Community

From January 26 to 30, 2024, Ambiente is the place where the international design community meets. The 2024 claim is “The Lifestyle Movement”, with a focus on design and trends.
The Designer Community at Ambiente 2024 dedicates a whole day to design and designers.
On Saturday, January 27, Designer Day offers inspiration to those who are looking for the latest trends. From 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., there will be talks by well-known international designers. Elena Salmistraro will give her special presentation “The Lounge – A Serious Game”; then, presentations by Christoph Brach of Raw Colour, Laura Straßer of Matter of Course, Alison Mears and Jonsara Ruth of Parsons Healthy Materials Lab, and T.A. Wu of Spring Pool will follow.

Anna Pellizzari, Materially: sustainable materials in interior design

Anna Pellizzari is Executive Director of Materially, a material innovation consulting firm, and Italian partner of Material ConneXion. She has over 25 years of experience in the study of materials, with a particular focus on sustainability issues. She gained experience through short courses at Domus Academy in Milan, Central St Martins in London, FIT – Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, and Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership. Moreover,  has collaborated with many companies from different industries. Finally, she also has given lectures and conferences at Politecnico di Milano, Naba, Domus Academy, Elisava Design School, SADI Samsung Art & Design Institute, IED, La Sapienza, ALTIS, 24Ore Business School.
